Located in Portland, Oregon, The Program creates digital solutions that deepen connections between lifestyle brands and consumers. Our work is creative and strategic. We are hiring a seasoned Senior Art Director to solve complex creative challenges with beautiful and simple design.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce bold styles that meet business objectives.
  • Ensure all design work is dialed before it goes out the door, deliver respectful and poignant feedback when needed.
  • Concept campaign-level experiences and see the work through from ideation to execution.
  • Be the design advocate on cross-functional project teams, adding artful enhancements to multi-channel campaigns.
  • Mentor and motivate design team members to do their best work.
  • Design strategically. Adapt your style to meet brand partner needs. Explain your approach to teammates and clients in presentations and reviews.

Qualifications

  • 6+ Years of design/art-direction experience
  • Senior-level creative agency experience leading heavy projects for big brands
  • Ability to make the complex simple
  • Digital design chops and original artistic style
  • Self-starting difference-maker with proven interpersonal and communication skills

Details

This is an in-house position working from our studio in SE Portland. Salary is competitive based on experience. Production Designer

As a Production Designer you will help conceptualize and create engaging brand assets, toolkits and decks across multi-tiered brand campaigns. You will be working with brand design leads, strategists and producers, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the entire design process, while gaining a thorough knowledge of partner brand standards and visual centers.

Responsibilities

  • Assume brand identity leadership for premium brand partner
  • Create large quantities of digital brand assets, toolkits and presentation decks for use across a variety of brand campaigns
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively as a member of our design team, partnering with technology and project management teams
  • Approach work using best practices to deliver quality products
  • Communicate with team members in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Provide recommendations and insight, while remaining positive, open and flexible
  • Take accountability with tight deadlines and deliver quick turnarounds and revisions while maintaining high quality work with creative integrity
  • Provide recommendations for automation and improved workflow
  • Remain current on design trends and usability best practices

Qualifications

  • 2+ Years of relevant, interactive design experience
  • Ability to adhere to and work within brand guidelines
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and seize the opportunity to make a difference
  • Exceptional digital skills, along with a demonstrated proficiency in Adobe applications
  • Ability to ensure aesthetic quality and details are consistent across all creative
  • Self-starter with proven interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to receive and give constructive feedback throughout all design phases
