Associate Creative Director (Art)

The Program partners with the world’s most competitive and innovative brands to develop highly strategic, creative, and technical solutions. Our approach is grounded in the understanding that the speed of culture requires finding comfort and purpose in an uncertain world. We define moments that offer social and style utility, building a holistic representation that serves brand, business, and consumer.

We are hiring an Associate Creative Director with a visual design background to join our Portland, Oregon agency. Drawing inspiration from technology, style, sport, culture, and media, the right person has a history of perfecting pixels with a proven track record demonstrating how design influences consumer behavior and brand engagement.

A Little About You

  • You’re a designer at heart. You have 8+ years of experience in visual design roles at a creative agency or brand.

  • You’re an energizing and empathetic leader who prefers to show, not tell. You’re in the deep-end alongside the team, creating, inspiring, supporting, pushing pixels, and building decks.

  • You have a proven ability to effectively build strong partnerships with both clients and colleagues.

  • You’re a strong strategic thinker who understands that the consumer's time is limited and platform constraints are always a concern. You translate strategy, business goals, and consumer insights into compelling visual concepts.

  • You take full ownership of a project with a ferocious appetite to sweat the small stuff. You have a deep understanding of clients, their business needs, and our role in their success.

  • You obsess the continually changing landscape in which consumers engage brands. You channel that obsession to create future-focused concepts while remaining on brand.

  • You have an execution-led mindset and demonstrated experience thinking beyond the campaign to design moments that matter.

  • You understand mediums and platforms, and how video, motion, sound, and other deliverables best live across channels.

  • Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities. Whether the audience is internal, conference attendees, or a client, you can articulate solutions clearly and confidently.

  • You are restless to learn, grow, experience new things, iterate, and push boundaries.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict and often competing deadlines, often while working independently.

  • Exceptional digital skills with a demonstrated proficiency across applications like Adobe Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and other creative tools. .

  • Sought after as a natural mentor to other members of the team.
