Magento Web Developer
The Program is looking for an experienced Magneto web developer to join our Portland, Oregon agency. The right people will have advanced experience across a wide variety of web technologies. Technological Requirements:
3+ years of Magneto 2 experience
In depth knowledge and experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Advanced experience with PHP and Magento
Experience with front-end build tools.
Strong understanding of Git and Git workflows
Proficiency with Dev Ops and the full stack of the Magento 2 e-commerce platform
Magento cloud and enterprise experience
Experience building a high-performance Magento 2 technology stack (PHP, Apache/Nginx, MySQL, Varnish, Redis)
Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, performance monitoring
Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, SEO, Google Analytics, PPC, and A/B Testing
Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development
Responsibilities:
Take technical ownership of e-commerce properties
Assist in development of website wireframes and visual designs (from a technical and optimization perspective)
Ability to balance design, technical and business constraints
Ability to solve cross browser and mobile issues
Collaborate with team members in an agile, fast paced environment
Lend advice and leadership to engineering team members
Provide recommendations and insight, while remaining positive, open and flexible
Qualifications:
4+ Years of relevant, agency experience working on web applications and websites
5+ years of full stack PHP experience
Magento 2 certification (preferred but not required)
Passionate about remaining ahead of the technology curve
Experience developing and implementing mobile-first responsive e-commerce websites start to finish
Experience working within Magento technical best practices and guidelines
Understanding of web development user experience best practices
High degree of initiative and self direction; must be detail oriented and proactive
Ability to handle projects solo, but thoroughly enjoy collaborating with a partner or a team
Experience with React or other modern front-end view frameworks
Experience contributing to OSS projects or any community involvement a plus
Details:
This is an in-house position working from our studio in SE Portland and remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic. Salary is competitive based on experience. The Program provides a competitive benefit package that includes paid holidays, vacation/personal time, 401k matching, health, dental and vision insurance. Relocation package available if applicable.
