Sr. Content Creative

We’re looking for a Sr. Content Creative to join our growing content team. Do you obsess the content journey? From how it is ideated through creation and ultimately placed in the path of the consumer, at the right moment. As a Sr. Content Creative you don't just have your finger on the pulse for how consumers engage brands, through short and long-form content, you’re also keeping one eye on future technologies, platforms, consumer activation practices and media types that excite and engage audiences.

In this role, you will touch on all parts of the creative process, both in defining and executing creative, and as a support to other team members to help execute, capture, and edit content (video, photo, motion).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to creative ideation, conceptualization, and development of content including brand campaigns, social executions, TVC’s, and content for in-app/dotcom

  • Involvement and ownership in all aspects of content production from creative development through post-production for projects of various sizes

  • Operating (DP) camera equipment of various types, from cinema to consumer-grade

  • Directing, editing, and color grading all types of content

  • Ability to direct sets and communicate with all the different roles (Director, DP, AC, Gaffer, Sound Mixer, PA, DIT)

  • Lead post-production and collaborate with broader team editing, finalizing, and delivering creative assets

  • Writing treatments, shotlists, and creative-concepts

  • Provide thoughtful insight and feedback that pushes the creative 

  • Pitching creative work

  • Dutifully contribute to maintaining file organization, archival standards, and content management

  • Ability to work in studio, on location, and travel on assignments

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds, help haul gear, etc

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of creative development, video production, and post-production experience working with global brands

  • Advanced proficiency in creative development, concepting, creating shot lists, editing, color grading, and operating cameras (RED, DSLR, etc)

  • Advanced proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve

  • Proficiency in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Cinema4D, and Blender.

  • Developing editorial style and creative voice - budding creative writing skills

  • Thoughtfully approach work using best practices to deliver high-quality content in the changing digital landscape

  • Accountability to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds while maintaining a high quality of work with creative integrity

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and seize the opportunity to make a difference

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, on multiple overlapping projects

  • Experience working with art directors, content producers, writers, directors, business affairs, talent, crew, etc

  • Sound design, photography, and motion graphics experience a plus

Details

  • Ideal candidates are located in or around Portland, Oregon, and are happy to join us in the studio and on set a few days per week as needed. We're also open to a fully remote setup with a strong preference to Washington and Texas-based candidates.

  • The salary band for this role is $80,000-$95,000.
